Type: Prefabricated reinforcement mesh
Applications:
Reinforcement mesh is used for the construction of lateral reinforcement of concrete columns, beams and walls
Steel grade – Diameters - Distances: Reinforcement mesh is produced from straight rebars, grade B500C (ELOT 1421-3), diameters 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm. The rebars are welded at distances of 100 mm or 125 mm with transverse wires of 6.00 mm diameter. The transverse wires are produced by wire rod SAE 1010.
Hooks of steel cages: Steel cage is formed after the folding of reinforcement mesh. Inside the steel cage, hooks are formed at both ends of the mesh with angle equal or bigger than 135 degrees and hook length is according to the Earthquake-Resistance Building Code, depending on the dimension. Hooks ensure the stability of the steel cage during the forming of concrete columns, beams and walls.
Advantages:
- Accurate geometry which ensures symmetry and stability during the forming of concrete columns, bars and walls
- Easier shaping and weldability which ensures quick forming-folding of the reinforcement mesh to steel cages
- Stability of the final formed product after the embody of the mesh or of the cage into the structure
- Easy and quick fitting
- Decrease of the total fitting cost (production and fitting)
Dimensions:
Length of mesh sheet from 0,80 up to 3,00 m and width 2,60 & 3,00 m
Packing: In bundles of 25, 40 ή 50 sheets, depending on the dimension. Sales per bundle and per sheet.
