Galvanized Wire
The galvanized wire, depending on the way of production and on the final applications-uses, is divided at the following 4 basic categories:
-
Common Soft Galvanized Wire
(soft steel wire with tensile strength < 500 N/mm2 and zinc thickness 50-110 gr/m2, suitable for the production of chain-link fences and welded nets for fencing in rolls, construction of vineyards, etc) -
Semi-Hard Galvanized Wire
(semi-hard steel wire with tensile strength 650-900 N/mm2 and zinc thickness 50-110 gr/m2, suitable for the production of welded nets in panels, construction of doors for fences, etc) -
Heavy Galvanized Wire
(soft or semi-hard steel wire with zinc thickness 220-350 gr/m2, suitable for the production of hexagonal wire mesh gabions and high anti-corrosion nets for fencing, etc) -
High Carbon Galvanized Wire
(high carbon steel wire with tensile strength 1600-2000 N/mm2 and zinc thickness 220-300 gr/m2, suitable for the construction of razor wires, galvanized springs, etc)
