Plastic Coated Wire (PVC)

Type: Hot-dipped common soft galvanized wire with PVC coating

Applications:

• Construction of chain-link pvc fences, for airports, hotels, luna parks, and for every application where high antioxidaton protection and stylish look is needed
• All kinds of binding with flexible – soft wire, with clear surface, so that the surface with which the wire will come in touch will not become dirty
• Manufacturing of hangers
• Binding of weaving & plastic bags which contain fruits, carrots, etc
• Binding of plastic bags for carpets and other household objects
• Binding of plastic bags for ice cubes
• Binding of stems, branches, flowers and other garden uses

Steel quality of raw material:

Wire rod SAE 1005, SAE 1006 & SAE 1008 is being used as raw material, from which takes place drawing to wires of smaller diameters, which wires afterwards are galvanized inside galvanizing lines and finally PVC coating is added on the surface of the galvanized wire

Zinc coating:

The zinc coating of the internal wire is according to ΕΝ 10244-02, Class C, for the main diameters the zinc coating is 50-110 gr/m2

PVC coating for wire diameter > 1.80 mm: 0.5-0.6 mm (for example, for internal wire diameter of 2.00 mm the outside diameter is 2.00 + 0.6 + 0.6 = 3.20 mm)
PVC coating for wire diameter 1.00-1.80 mm: 0.3-0.4 mm (for example, for internal wire diameter of 1.20 mm the outside diameter is 1.20 + 0.3 + 0.3 = 1.80 mm)

Color of PVC coating: dark green, light green, grey, yellow, red, bleu

Tensile strength:

• for all the applications (except this for hangers): < 500 N/mm2
• construction of hangers: 700-900 N/mm2

Packing: In bundles-coils (unbinding from the top) of 2 kg, 100 kg, 250 kg, 500 kg, 1000 kg
